ἅ μοι προσελθὼν σῖγα †σήμαιν᾿† εἴτ᾿ ἔχει χῶρον πρὸς αὐτὸν τόνδ᾿ ἔτ᾿, εἴτ᾿ ἄλλῃ κυρεῖ, ὡς τἀπίλοιπα τῶν λόγων σὺ μὲν κλύῃς, 25ἐγὼ δὲ φράζω, κοινὰ δ᾿ ἐξ ἀμφοῖν ἴῃ.

ΝΕΟΠΤΟΛΕΜΟΣ

ἄναξ Ὀδυσσεῦ, τοὔργον οὐ μακρὰν λέγεις· δοκῶ γὰρ οἷον εἶπας ἄντρον εἰσορᾶν.

ΟΔΥΣΣΕΥΣ

ἄνωθεν, ἢ κάτωθεν; οὐ γὰρ ἐννοῶ.

ΝΕΟΠΤΟΛΕΜΟΣ

τόδ᾿ ἐξύπερθε, καὶ στίβου γ᾿ οὐδεὶς κτύπος.

ΟΔΥΣΣΕΥΣ

30ὅρα καθ᾿ ὕπνον μὴ καταυλισθεὶς κυρῇ.

ΝΕΟΠΤΟΛΕΜΟΣ

ὁρῶ κενὴν οἴκησιν ἀνθρώπων δίχα.

ΟΔΥΣΣΕΥΣ

οὐδ᾿ ἔνδον οἰκοποιός ἐστί τις τροφή;

ΝΕΟΠΤΟΛΕΜΟΣ

στιπτή γε φυλλὰς ὡς ἐναυλίζοντί τῳ.

ΟΔΥΣΣΕΥΣ

τὰ δ᾿ ἄλλ᾿ ἐρῆμα, κοὐδέν ἐσθ᾿ ὑπόστεγον;
