The Trustees of the Loeb Classical Library Foundation are pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Gesine Manuwald as General Editor of the Loeb Classical Library, joining Professor Jeffrey Henderson in the newly shared role. Professor Manuwald is Professor of Latin in the Department of Greek and Latin at University College, London. A prolific scholar of Roman drama and epic, Cicero’s speeches, and reception studies, especially Neo-Latin literature, Professor Manuwald is no stranger to the LCL: For the last several years she has served as Series Editor of the multi-volume Fragmentary Republican Latin, to which she has also contributed.
